MAIN.dta: Stata dta file containing a dataset generated using a questionnaire survey of individuals in 200 villages in the provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo-Province, Mozambique, in 2022. The dataset contains 1,999 observations and 659 variables.

LEADER.dta: Stata dta file containing a dataset generated using a questionnaire survey of 200 village leaders in the provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo-Province, Mozambique, in 2022. The  dataset contains 200 observations and 83 variables.

GAME.dta: Stata dta file containing a dataset generated through behavioural games (risk game; trust game with a community member, and with the community leader; public good game) and through a matching grant activity, to which participated individuals and village leaders in 200 villages in the provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo-Province, Mozambique, in 2022. The dataset contains 2,198 observations and 55 variables.

REGULO.dta: Stata dta file containing a dataset generated by a questionnaire survey of elders/ traditional leader in 200 villages in the provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo-Province, Mozambique, in 2022. The dataset contains 199 observations and 38 variables.

VariableDescriptions.xlsx: This excel file contains variable names, labels (both in Portuguese and translated into English), and labels for categorical data (both in Portuguese and translated into English) for the dta files: MAIN, LEADER, GAME, and REGULO. Each dta file is described in a different excel sheet, which is named as the dta file. In each sheet, the first column contains the type of questionnaire question (text, integer, select one/ multiple). In case of select one/ multiple type of questions, in the first column there is also a reference to the list from which the responses could be selected. These lists, along with their codes, are shown in the excel sheet "choices", both in Portuguese and translated into English. Common data codes across datasets include 999 for 'Don't know,' 777 for 'Refused,' and 888 for 'Other.
