Title: Nature’s Contribution to Poverty Alleviation, Human Wellbeing and Sustainable Development Goals, 2019–2022 This archive consists of (a) a secondary dataset and (b) accompanying documents. The folder structure of the uploaded files is as follows: |-- 855303_ReadMe.txt |-- 855303_data.zip |-- n4s_hh.csv |-- n4s_ids.csv |-- n4s_ls.csv |-- n4s_lvl.csv |-- n4s_rts.csv |-- n4s_setts.csv |-- 855303_documentation.zip |-- n4s_ethics_approval_letter.pdf |-- n4s_information_sheet.pdf |-- n4s_methods_summary.pdf |-- n4s_variable_names.csv |-- n4s_website_materials.pdf ### (a) Secondary data (within '855303_data' folder) - Secondary data is stored in six data sheets in comma-separated values (.csv) format. Names of the sheets and data contained within are as follows: + *n4s_hh* : Household demographic and attributes. + *n4s_ids* : All corresponding IDs, including the IDs from the original source datasets, to help link between csv files. + *n4s_ls* : Detailed information on extent, proportion and area of the different land covers and associated resource tenure systems in each settlement. + *n4s_lvl* : Household livelihood sources. + *n4s_rts* : Settlement resource tenure systems. + *n4s_setts* : Settlement social ecological context. ### (b) Accompanying documents (within '855303_documentation' folder) - The variable descriptions are provided as a CSV document and the rest of the accompanying documents are in PDF format. A brief description of each document (name in parentheses) is provided below: + **Ethics approval letter** (*n4s_ethics_approval_letter*): A PDF document confirming the ethical approval of using secondary data in the Nature4SDGs project by the GGS Research Ethics Panel (1 pages). + **Project information sheet** (*n4s_information_sheet*): A PDF document providing background information on the project, the research objectives and approach (2 pages). + **Methods summary** (*n4s_methods_summary*): A PDF file including a description of the data sources, an overview of how these feed into each component of the integrated dataset, and a description of the methods used to compile the data in each component of the datasets (37 pages). + **Variable descriptions** (*n4s_variable_names*): An Excel file summarizing all variables in the data files, including their long and short names, type, and a description (1 sheet). + **Website materials** (*n4s_website_materials*): A PDF archive of all website materials (9 pages). The dataset included in this collection draws upon the following existing global geospatial datasets to provide further village-level information on the social-ecological context.
