Metadata and additional information for dataset: ÒVerbal and Visuospatial Working Memory in Mathematics and Humanities StudentsÓ Data were collected from 82 students studying mathematics or economics at university and 84 students studying humanities subjects at university across 3 experiments on measures of short-term and working memory, mathematics, spatial cognition and attention. This dataset consists of 7 files in addition to this ReadMe file. 3 .csv files contain data from the 3 experiments, 1 .txt file describes the tasks used in each experiment and 3 .pdf files provide examples of information and consent forms for participants as well as the anxiety scale used.
