READ ME FILE Each fMRI study has 2 zip files: 1_fMRI data, 2_(Study name)_documentation & behavioural_data (including 1_study design, 2_stimuli, 3_behavioural data_log files ) ==== Study 1: Stag Hunt ==== For each file name a short description of what data it includes: Folder 1, '1_fMRI data': fMRI data folder : each individual MRI data were filed as 'SHXX', in that subfolder was named as by acquisition date (e.g. 20140307_XXXX), and under that subfolder, structural images were saved as 'MPRAGE', and functional images were saved as 'ep2d_bold_moco_550'. Folder 2, '2_stag hunt_documentation & behavioural_data': >> Subfolder 1_Study design : (1)Study design and fMRI protocol.docx : Background, resesarch questions, hypotheses, Methods were described (2)Appendices_Questionnaires_&_Conset_forms.docx : Appendix 1. Pre-screening questionnaire, Appendix 2. Participant information sheet, Appendix 3: Informed consent form, Appendix 4: Attachment questionnaire, & Appendix 5: Attachment questionnaire are filed >> Subfolder 2_Stimuli: (1) main.m : '2_Stimuli' includes a series of m-files that were needed to run the experiment. 'main.m' is the script that runs the experiment, and other m-files were engaged with the 'main.m' file. The subfolder, 'Data', of '2_Stimuli' was the folder that saved the log files from this experiment. The folder of 'Toolbox' also includes a series of m-files, which are needed to run 'main.m'. >> Subfolder 3_Behavioural data_log files: (1)Stag Hunt_log files_all participants.xls : Behavioural log files of all participants were filed, and Codebook sheet describes abbreviation used. (2)SHXX.txt: these are log files of individuals that were acquired during MRI scan ==== Study 2: Pain Empathy ==== For each file name a short description of what data it includes: Folder 1, '1_fMRI data': fMRI data folder : each individual MRI data were filed as 'NPEXX', in that subfolder was named as by acquisition date (e.g. 20140307_XXXX), and under that subfolder, structural images were saved as '2_MPRAGE', and functional images were saved as '3_ep2d_bold_moco_835'. Folder 2, '2_pain-empathy_documentation & behavioural_data': >> Subfolder 1_Study design : (1) Study design and fMRI protocol.docx : research question, hypotheses, Materials & Methods are described (2) Appendices_Questionnaires_&_Conset_forms.docx : Appendix 1. Pre-screening questionnaire, Appendix 2. Participant information sheet, Appendix 3: Informed consent form, Appendix 4: Empathy Quotient questionnaire, & Appendix 5: Attachment questionnaire are filed >> Subfolder 2_Stimuli: (1)nat_emp_uk.sce: this is the script to run the experiment (Presentation software) (2)Video stimuli reference.docx: the source of video stimuli is described >> Subfolder 3_Behavioural data_log files: (1)Edinburgh_Pain_empathy_log files_all participants.xls: Behavioural log files of all participants were filed (e.g. NPEXX), in that Codebook sheet describes abbreviation used in column in excel sheets.
