Popular Views of the Chinese Health Care System: Readme File.

This file provides bilingual Chinese-English transcripts of nine focus group discussions carried out in three Chinese cities in June and July 2012 on themes relating to health care system performance, trust in doctors and utilization of health care. 

Each discussion has a transcript and a file containing anonymised background information about the participants based on a short questionnaire administered after the focus group discussion. Four of the focus groups have a list of medical conditions reported by the participants as medical conditions were taken into account during recruitment.  

In addition, there is a documentation package containing the abstract, discussion guide, instructions for recruitment and stratification, plain language statement and consent form and a table of contents.
