Description of data: Transcript of public meeting between Chagossian community members and KPMG consultants for a study of the feasibility of resettlement of BIOT 
(Chagos). Purpose of event was for KPMG consultants to introduce themselves, introduce the study and discuss issues likely to be involved in the resettlement process, 
and for Chagossians to ask questions of the team and raise any issues about the resettlement process. Event held at Broadfield Community Centre, Crawley, from 19:00 to 21:00 
on 02/07/2014. Transcript was prepared from audio recording of the event. Some instances of speech are missing due to noise interference. These are made explicit in 
the text. Participants included KPMG consultants, approximately 120 Chagossians, Chagossian campaigners/supporters, academics, etc.
