Readme 1) yougov%20deposit.dta File in Stata 13 format. Contains survey records for 1869 individuals in the UK, as sampled in a YouGov survey commissioned by the authors. The survey is a nationally representative sample. Survey data has been appended to 2011 ward-level census data from ONS, based on respondent postal code (these are not available for distribution). Variable descriptions appear next variables. Survey variables are first, followed by census variables (beginning with Local Authority code). Variables beginning "c_" refer to the first question about contact with those of different ethnic background, those beginning "r_" to comfort with those of different ethnic background A number of recodes and interactions have been specified.
